«Family Book» helps turn photographs of parents, grandmothers and grandfathers into a real book-album. You upload pictures on the site and write a few words under each: who is in it, where and when it was. We restore old photographs, design your stories into neat layout and build a family photo album of up to 120 pages.
Such a book is a good gift for parents on an anniversary, a wedding anniversary or just because. You get the digital version as a PDF and as a link to browse on your phone. We make the hardcover printed book in Almaty and send it across Kazakhstan. The first pages can be previewed for free, before payment.
Questions
People ask us.
Will anyone see my photographs?
While you build the first pages, the pictures never leave your phone or computer. If you order, we receive only the photos you send. They are stored on the server for no more than 180 days and deleted earlier at your request.
Will the faces in the photos change?
No. We remove damage and bring back sharpness, but we do not remodel people. You will see every restoration before printing and can reject it.
I am not good at writing. What should I do?
A couple of phrases under each picture is enough: who, where, what you remember. We turn it into a coherent story and show it to you before printing.
How many photographs do I need?
From 15 to 60: that makes a real book. You can start with fewer and add more later.
How much does a photo book cost?
The digital book (PDF and a link to browse) costs 15,000 ₸. The printed hardcover book with PDF costs 45,000 ₸. Delivery of the printed book across Kazakhstan is paid separately; we name the cost before payment.
How do I pay?
By Kaspi transfer. After you place the order you will see the number and the amount. We start work once the transfer is checked. If you live outside Kazakhstan, write to us on WhatsApp and we will suggest another way to pay.
Do you work only in Almaty?
We are based in Almaty, but you can order from any city: you upload photographs on the site, we send the digital book online and ship the printed one across Kazakhstan.
Are old paper photographs suitable?
Yes. Photograph or scan the picture in good light, without glare, and upload it. We remove scratches, stains, fading and blur during restoration.
